ABWSoc Recruit Does Well at Maryland State T&F Championships

Lady Battler recruit Amber Kling from Nothern Garrett H.S. did well over the weekend at the 2009 Maryland State H.S. Track and Field Championships.

Kling helped her relay team to a 2nd place finish in the 4x100 meter relay (Click Here For Results) and a 4th place finish in the 4x200 (Click Here For Results)

Northern Garrett finished 13th overall as a team.

Lady Battler Recruit Competes in the WV Track & Field State Championships

Gwen Brand from Preston County H.S. competed in the WV State Track and Field Championships this past weekend. Brand finished 13th in the 100 Meter Hurdles, 11th in the 4x400 Relay and 11th in the 4x102.5 Hurdles Shuttle Relay.

Lady Battler Recruits Win State Cup

Three Lady Battler recruits, as well as two soon to sign recruits were a part of the WV U-18 State Cup Champion WV Vision Team. Gwen Brand, Brooke Logston and Katie Perry breezed to the title with a 5-0 victory over WV Rapids Soccer Club out of Beckley, WV. The Vision squad out scored opponents 26-1 over the weekend as they move on to the Region 1 Championships July 2nd - 7th in Barboursville, WV. Read more on this article...
